Firearm Transfer Information

Please Wait 24 Hours

 We ask that you wait at least 24 hours from being notified of delivery. That way we have time to check the serial number and catalogue your firearm!
You may come in any time during our listed business hours.

What to Bring:

Two Forms of Photo ID that Match!

Federal law requires two valid forms of picture ID that

match the address provided by you on ATF Form 4473.

 If your address has changed and your LTC, FID, or driver's license still shows your old address, please make the required changes to those IDs prior to scheduling a transfer.

In order to validate the address change to your LTC/FID prior to renewal, we require you to bring the green Ceritified Mail Receipt with you.

Mass FID/LTC Security PIN

Please bring your 6-digit security PIN so that we can validate your FID/LTC.

Out-of-State Transfers:

We require all out-of-state transfers to come from a valid FFL dealer.

This is because federal law prohibits certain persons from shipping, transporting, possessing, or receiving firearms or ammunition, including any person who:

  • Has been convicted of a crime punishable by a term of imprisonment exceeding one year;
  • Is a fugitive from justice;
  • Is an unlawful user of, or addicted to, any controlled substance;
  • Has been adjudicated as a mental defective or committed to a mental institution;
  • Is an alien illegally or unlawfully in the United States;
  • Is an alien who has been admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa (with certain exceptions);
  • Has been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions;
  • Has renounced United States citizenship;
  • Is subject to a qualifying protective order;
  • Has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.

Conducting business through a valid FFL dealer is the only way we're able to easily validate that we are receiving a firearm from a person that is not prohibited.

Youth Handgun Safety Act:

  • The misuse of handguns is a leading contributor to juvenile violence and fatalities.
  • Safely storing and securing firearms away from children will help prevent the unlawful possession of handguns by juveniles, stop accidents, and save lives.
  • Federal law prohibits, except in certain limited circumstances, anyone under 18 years of age from knowingly possessing a handgun, or any person from selling, delivering, or otherwise transferring a handgun to a person under 18.
  • A knowing violation of the prohibition against selling, delivering, or otherwise transferring a handgun to a person under the age of 18 is, under certain circumstances, punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Note: ATF | 5300.2 provides the complete language of the statutory prohibition and exceptions provided in 18 U.S.C. 922(x), and the penalty provisions of 18 U.S.C. 924(a)(6).

It is unlawful to store or keep a firearm, rifle, shotgun, or machine gun in any place unless that weapon is equipped with a tamper-resistant safety device or is stored or kept in a securely locked container.
