One of the most popular activities on Cape Cod is biking and Art's Bike Shop has the perfect place to launch your biking adventure. We are just two-tenths of a mile from the top of the shining sea bikeway path, that stretches from North Falmouth all the way to the charming fishing village of Woods Hole and the home of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute approximately 10.7 miles one way! The bikeway follows a former railroad line that provided service from New York and Boston to the Woods Hole from 1872 to 1965. Along the way, the shining sea bikeway boasts the most beautiful views of cranberry bogs, Martha's Vineyard sound, salt marshes, harbors and wildlife. The bikeway is flat and hugs the coast, so there are many options if you want to bike off the trail and catch your own ocean view. We have plenty of bicycle rentals and spaces for car parking.
